Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research (T.A.R.R.) Centre of Manitoba

The Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research Centre of Manitoba is looking for a Translator to interpret older handwritten pieces in French and translating the passages into English while making sure to maintain their original meaning and format.

Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given materials and following up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in both French and English.

Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs and helps us with ongoing First Nation claims research.

All translating duties are limited in both time and scope. Translators will be contacted on an as needed basis. Therefore, there is no contractual obligation or part-time status associated with the position.
